Instituted in 2019, the Pearl McGonigal Award recognizes individuals or groups for their exemplary contributions to Grace Hospital and the wider community. In 2022, the Grace Hospital Foundation is bestowing the Pearl McGonigal Lifetime Achievement Award on Moe (Wajih) Zeid. As Winnipeg's leading independent grocer, Mr. Zeid, with his five thriving Food Fare locations, has generously committed his time and resources to numerous initiatives.
