Project Overview
Produced for the United States Consulate General in Winnipeg, this film celebrates the power of music to connect cultures and bring communities together.
Created as part of a cultural exchange initiative during Festival du Voyageur, the project follows L'Angélus, a family band from Louisiana whose unique blend of Cajun, swing, swamp pop, and New Orleans R&B reflects the rich musical traditions of the American South. Through music and storytelling, the film highlights the enduring friendship between Canada and the United States while celebrating the shared values that unite us.
Festival du Voyageur L’Angélus shows how music, culture and shared identity can become a story that connects communities across borders.
